Vivo's sub-brand that focuses on gaming smartphones , iQoo , launched its newest mobile phone, namely iQoo Neo 7 to the global market . India became the first region to get this phone.
Before coming to India, the iQoo Neo 7 was released in China in October 2022. iQoo then released the iQoo Neo 7 SE in China in December 2022.
In terms of design, the iQoo Neo 7 which is marketed in India carries exactly the same design as the iQoo Neo 7 and iQoo NEO 7 SE which are sold in China.
This phone has a screen with a small hole ( punch hole ) in the middle. While on the back, there is a square-shaped camera module.
For specifications, the iQoo Neo 7 in India carries the same specifications as the iQoo Neo 7 SE, not the Chinese version of the iQoo Neo 7.
The only difference between the iQoo Neo 7 in India and the iQoo Neo 7 SE in China is the user interface (UI).
In China, the iQoo Neo 7 runs the Android 13 operating system and is coated with the Origin OS 3.0 interface. Meanwhile, the newly released iQoo Neo 7 in India runs the Android 13 operating system and is coated with the Funtouch OS 13 UI.
Currently, Vivo, including the iQoo sub-brand, is marketing mobile phones with two different UIs, namely Origin OS for mobile phones sold in China and FuntouchOS for mobile phones marketed globally.
iQoo Neo 7 specs in India
For the screen, the Indian version of the iQoo Neo 7 carries a 6.78-inch AMOLED panel with Full HD Plus resolution (2,400 x 1,080 pixels), 120 Hz refresh rate , 300 Hz touch sampling rate , and a maximum screen brightness level of 1,300 nits.
For the photography sector, this phone is equipped with a 16 MP front camera (f/2.4). The iQoo Neo 7 in India is equipped with three rear cameras consisting of a 64 MP main camera (f/1.79), a 2MP bokeh camera (f/2.4), and a macro camera. 2MP (f/2.4).

In terms of the kitchen runway, the iQoo Neo 7 which was released in India is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8200 5G (4nm) chipset, the same as the iQoo Neo 7 SE in China. This chipset is combined with 8/12GB of RAM and 128/256GB of media storage.
As a comparison, the Chinese version of the iQoo Neo 7 is driven by the Dimensity 9000 Plus chipset .
iQoo Neo 7 in India has a battery with a capacity of 5,000 mAh with support for fast charging 120 watts.
This sub-brand from Vivo claims that support can make the iQoo Neo 7 battery charged from 1-60 percent in just 10 minutes. For full charging to 100 percent, the duration is claimed to be no more than 20 minutes.
