The 3rd version of the LGBT event, Awawalé, occurred this weekend break of May 13 in Abidjan. Côte d’Ivoire is among the nations on the continent where homosexuality is not punished, however it is still stigmatized within the populace. The NGO Gromo, which arranges this event, intends to alert regarding the socio-economic susceptability of LGBT individuals.
