Unlocked is the latest South Korean mystery thriller film starring Im Si-wan . In the film, the actor and member of the boy group ZE: A returns as a scary character.

Unlocked tells the story of a woman with an ordinary life who suddenly changes until she feels threatened after losing her cell phone which contains all of her personal information.
Na-mi ( Chun Woo-hee ) works as a marketing team for a start-up company. He is an ordinary office employee who works hard every day.
He never thought, his cell phone lost on the way home from work. However, Na-mi then feels lucky because someone else saved her cell phone and returned it to her.
Unfortunately, that gratitude only lasts for a while because Na-mi realizes that her life has changed and has become full of threats since the lost cell phone returned to her.
Jun-yeong (Im Si-wan) finds Na-mi's cellphone. Na-mi doesn't know that Jun-yeong has hacked her cell phone. Jun-yeong also installed spyware on the cellphone.
Jun-yeong then tracks down Na-mi's daily life. Not only that, he also learns everything about her, from whereabouts, hobbies, tastes, work life, finances, and social networks.
He then approached her while hiding his true identity. However, Jun-yeong also uses Na-mi's identity for many things, including committing crimes.

Synopsis Unlocked, Im Siwan's scary actions as Jun-yeong who peeps into other people's data until he commits a crime with it.
On the other hand, there is Detective Ji-man ( Kim Hee-won ) who finds traces of his son, Jun-yeong, at the murder scene. This made Ji-man secretly investigate his son.
Unlocked is not the first project for Im Siwan to show a sinister side. Previously, he also starred in Strangers from Hell and Emergency Declaration to show off this action.
Meanwhile, Chun Woo-hee was previously known through the drama Be Melodramatic. She also starred in the film Han Gong-ju which won her the Best Actress Blue Dragon Film Awards 2014, Best New Actress BaekSang Arts Awards 2015 and the Korean Association of Film Critics Awards.
He has also starred in the hit Korean horror film The Wailing. He plays Moo Myeong, a mysterious woman in white who Jong-goo (Kwak Do-won) meets at a murder crime scene.
The film Unlocked is an adaptation of the Japanese novel titled Sumaho o Otoshita dake by Akira Shiga which was published in 2017. The novel has already been adapted to the big screen by Japan through two films, namely Stolen Identity and its sequels in 2018 and 2020.
Unlocked airs February 17 and can be watched on Netflix.
